Embark on a meaningful 10-day volunteer journey through Sri Lanka, combining community service, environmental conservation, leadership development, wildlife and cultural discovery. Designed for high school students, university students and individuals passionate about making a positive impact, this programme offers opportunities to teach in village schools, participate in beach cleanups, plant trees and support local communities.
Participants will also experience a full-day Team-Building & Leadership Development Camp, designed to strengthen communication, teamwork, confidence and leadership skills. A certificate of completion will be awarded in recognition of their valuable contribution.
Accompanied throughout by a friendly, English-speaking driver-guide, participants will discover Sri Lanka beyond conventional tourism. The programme includes wildlife experiences in Wilpattu National Park and visits to historic destinations including Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa, Yapahuwa, Galle, Negombo and Colombo. It is an inspiring journey where students can learn, serve, explore and create lasting memories while making a genuine difference.
As soon as you enter Sri Lanka from the Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be greeted by a representative of our ‘VINMIN’ team, who will be your chauffeur cum guide for the tour.

Detailed Tour Itinerary

Day 1: - BIA - Negombo
• Arrival at the BIA Airport and transfer to Negombo.
• Negombo City Tour.
• Check in to the hotel, relax, and Overnight Stay.

Day 2: – Negombo- Padukka
• Check out of the Hotel.
• Transfer to Ahas Gawwa Eco Lodge – Padukka.
• Check in to the Lodge.
• Full-Day Team Building & Leadership Development Camp.
• Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 3: - Padukka – Yapahuwa - Anuradhapura
• Check out of the Lodge.
• Transfer to Anuradhapura.
• Visit Yapahuwa Rock Fortress En route to Anuradhapura.
• Check in to the Hotel in Anuradhapura and Relax.
• Visit the museum in Anuradhapura and Historical ruins.
• Visit Jaya Sri Maha Bodiya and Ruwanwali Maha Saya.
• Return to the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 4: – Anuradhapura – Wilpattu National Park.
• Tree Planting & Environmental Conservation Programme in Wilpattu National Park in the morning.
• Jeep safari in Wilpattu National Park in the evening.
• Return to the hotel, relax and overnight stay.

Day 5: – Anuradhapura
• Community Learning & School Engagement Programme – Anuradhapura.
• Sports event with Rural school students.
• Return to the hotel, relax and overnight stay.

Day 6: – Anuradhapura – Polonnaruwa.
• Check out of the Hotel.
• Transfer to Polonnaruwa.
• Check in to the hotel in Girithale.
• Community Learning & School Engagement Programme – Polonnaruwa.
• Tree Planting program in Polonnaruwa in the evening.
• Return to the hotel, relax and overnight stay.

Day 7: – Polonnaruwa– Southern Coast Beach.
• Visit the ruins of the Audience Hall, Council Chamber, the Royal Citadel, the Kumara Pokuna (pond), Royal Pavilion, Siva Dewale, the Watadage relic house, Kiriwehera, Gal Vihare.
• Lunch at the Hotel.
• Check out of the Hotel.
• Transfer to Southern Coast Beach.
• Check in to the hotel in Southern Coast Beach, relax and overnight stay.

Day 8: – Southern Coast Beach.
• Southern Coast Beach Conservation Programme.
• Return to the hotel.
• Relax on the beach and the sea.
• Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 9: – Southern Coast Beach- Colombo
• Check out of the Hotel.
• Visit Turtle Hatcheries.
• Visit Galle Fortress.
• Transfer to Colombo.
• Check in to the hotel in Colombo.
• Relax on the beach and the sea.
• Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 10: – Negombo - Departure
• Check out of the Hotel.
• Colombo City Tour. (Depending on your flight time)
