Tour Overview

Locations Covered: Colombo - Aththidiya - Udawalawe - Tissamaharama - Yala - Sinharaja Rainforest

* Sri Lanka is a paradise for bird-watchers, offering diverse habitats ranging from wetlands and lagoons to forests, grasslands and national parks. Aththidiya Wetland is ideal for observing waterbirds, while Udawalawe and Yala National Parks offer opportunities to see eagles, storks, bee-eaters, kingfishers, and many other species. The wetlands around Tissamaharama attract migratory and resident birds, while the Sinharaja Forest Reserve is renowned for endemic forest birds such as the Sri Lanka junglefowl, the Sri Lanka blue magpie, and the red-faced malkoha. Guided excursions, scenic landscapes and the chance to spot rare endemic species make bird-watching an unforgettable Sri Lankan experience.
